As a former Registered Pediatric Nurse with several years of experience, I’ve witnessed first hand the incredible benefits of nurturing touch for infants and their families. This passion led me to become a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, where I focus on teaching techniques that promote colic relief, better sleep, and meaningful bonding.

My background in pediatric nursing allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge to my classes, ensuring that parents feel supported and informed as they learn to connect with their little ones. Is baby massage safe for all babies?

Yes, baby massage is generally safe for most healthy babies. However, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician before starting, especially if your baby has any underlying health conditions.

When can I start baby massage?

You can start baby massage as soon as your baby is comfortable and you feel confident. Many parents start around 4-6 weeks of age, but you can begin earlier if you feel comfortable.

How often should I massage my baby?

Aim for a daily massage session, but even a few times a week can be beneficial.

What oils should I use for baby massage?

Pure cold Pressed oil, organic and pesticide free, naturally derived from fruit, nuts, vegetables, seeds or plants sesame oil, apricot kernel oil and almond/sweet almond oil

Can I massage my baby if I have long nails?

It's best to keep your nails short and trimmed to avoid scratching your baby's delicate skin.

What if my baby doesn't like being touched?

Don't force it. Start with gentle touches and gradually increase the pressure as your baby becomes more comfortable. You can also try massaging your baby while they're relaxed, such as after a such as after a sleep.

How long should a baby massage session last?

As long as your baby is happy to be massaged.
